Systems Administrator II, Department of Mechanical Engineering

Responsible for the system-level administration for department workstation fleet in a primarily Windows environment using industry standard tools.Maintainimaging tools, department print server, patch management,software deployment and licensing management.Administer additional endpoint and management platforms as needed.Assist with department IT security posture, policies, reporting and procedures to follow campus requirements and industry best practices.Windows Server configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and support for physical/virtual servers.Assist with the administration of the Mechanical Engineering network in coordination with campus-level network support team, services, and compliance.Provide advanced-level end user support as needed.Document processes, topologies, and system configurations. Maintain and update accurate information across several systems including inventory records, knowledge base, and ticketing system.
