Position: Engineering Manager - SRE

Knowledge / Experience:

1. Experience leading in a global operations or equivalent team for IBM MQ, NATS broker.
2. Understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed systems - How clusters are formed, quorum management, failure handling.
3. Experience in operating MQ or similar messaging solutions.
4. Understanding of Kafka clustering would be good to have.
5. Knows client-server communication aspects - sockets, TLS protocol, etc.
6. Understands the concept of region and AZs.
7. Experience of change control process and software concurrency strategies.
8. Knowledge of middleware technologies and security principles is helpful.
