Bright Vision Technologies has an immediate contract opportunity for a Fullstack Java Developer based out of Boston, MA (Hybrid).

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required.
- Minimum 8 (ideally 10+) years of experience developing web-based applications.
- Minimum 8 (ideally 10+) years development experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
- Experience with multi-threading using core Java libraries particularly the Executor framework.
- Experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MyBatis.
- Experience using and implementing RESTful web services.
- Experience with JBoss, Apache, Tomcat.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, Angular.
- Knowledge of AJAX techniques and modern JavaScript libraries like jQuery.
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
- Strong understanding of SQL database design and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions.
- Must have good understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, maintainability, security).
- Familiarity with web application security considerations.
- Self-motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Prior experience developing property & casualty applications a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
- Possess critical thinking skills to build end-to-end solutions.
- Possess ability to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure technical solutions and practice industry standards.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and configuring applications that meet business requirements, with a focus towards maintaining high performance, quality, and security standards.
- Experience in providing accurate work estimates and ensuring code quality through rigorous analysis and automated testing methodologies.
- Work well in both a small agile team and independently, having a strong user focus.
