Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer specializing in Cyber Systems to design, implement, maintain, and support our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies to ensure the overall security and integrity of our network systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience working as a Network Engineer with a focus on Cyber Systems.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security principles.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, firewall technologies, and VPN solutions.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure network systems to meet the organization's needs.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary solutions.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on network-related issues.
Skills
- Ability to perform the configuration of switches, routers, and firewalls is crucial for this position. Configuration/knowledge of WAN and LAN networks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools and technologies.
- Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends and developments.
