Position Description for a Senior Drupal Developer
Atlas Technologies, a rapidly expanding company supporting the US Military and other Government entities, is seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated team player to join our group of Information Technology professionals. We are actively seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Drupal Developer to join our team to support and enhance our customer's website. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Drupal development and a strong understanding of web technologies, coupled with the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000
You Will:
- Lead the development, update, and maintenance of the GoCoastGuard.com website using Drupal.
- Implement new features and functionality as required.
- Ensure the website's high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Manage and oversee content updates and revisions on the website.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure timely and accurate content publishing.
- Implement and maintain user roles and permissions in Drupal.
- Provide expert technical support for website issues and bugs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex website problems promptly.
- Work closely with IT and other support teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure the website adheres to security standards and best practices.
- Regularly update Drupal core and modules to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Conduct security audits and implement necessary security measures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, content creators, and project managers.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on project planning and timelines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Drupal development, with a focus on Drupal 8/9.
- Expertise in Drupal 8/9 development, including custom module and theme development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
- Experience with Drupal theming and site-building.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of web security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience working with government or military websites is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is desirable.
- Certification in Drupal or related web development areas is a plus.
