JOB DESCRIPTION

Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Skill Level(s): Subject Matter Expert

Candidate will work closely with the instructors, students, management, and team management to develop a new wireless network, support the current wireless network, support 2 wired networks, and the testing and assessment network. They will prepare documentation sufficient to gain approval of SSP’s. The Sponsor project manager will manage the priorities.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with learning enterprise partners.
  2. Develop and document a new wireless network at the new facility.
  3. Migrate all three networks to a new facility.
  4. Document Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) activities.
  5. Work with Cloud migration technologies, such as Microsoft Azure.
  6. Administer computer networks.
  7. Perform network architecture tasking.
  8. Work with recommended new network technologies.
  9. Collaborate with the vendors.
  10. Perform Network administration.
  11. Tend to the day-to-day needs and maintenance of networks.
  12. Design and configure networks as needed.
  13. Coordinate network support from vendors.
  14. Actively participate in internal and external meetings.
  15. Assist in short-term and long-term network planning.
  16. Help the Sponsor create current state of the art network architecture and will brief such to varying levels of management.

Required Skills

The Candidate shall possess and provide the following required skills and demonstrated experience:

  1. Designing and deploying wireless networks.
  2. Installing applications on Windows systems such as Servers and Desktops.
  3. Working with MECM.
  4. Deployment task sequencing.
  5. Working desktop and network hardware.
  6. Desktop support with MAC devices.
  7. Systems and network accreditation process.
  8. Services such as Cisco Umbrella.
  9. Office products to develop and document network design.
  10. Cisco Meraki.
  11. Architecting, designing, and configuring Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and wireless LAN controllers.
  12. Architecting, designing, and configuring a Windows Active Directory infrastructure.
  13. Working closely with vendors to create a bill of materials to meet requirements.
  14. Designing and deploying networks.
  15. Cloud technology in AWS and Azure.
  16. Ability to utilize Office products to develop and document network design.
  17. Third-party software maintenance products.
  18. Third-party software deployment products.

Highly Desired Skills

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

  1. Developing and managing a Microsoft Azure environment.
  2. Desktop support for language learning software.
  3. Taking customer requirements and architecting a network solution, utilizing data, voice, and video requirements.
