A day in the life

We are in search of a distinguished civil engineer with a specialized focus on site selection, due diligence, and city/town negotiations with industrial development experience, to fortify Prologis’ strategic Customer Led and Data Center Development teams. As a pivotal part of our site development unit, you will be integral in executing the entire due diligence process for new acquisitions, initiating development and build-to-suit projects, and skillfully navigating land use approvals and entitlements. Your ability to maintain and leverage external relationships for collaborative problem-solving will be essential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Site Feasibility and Layout (30%): Conduct site feasibility assessments and create comprehensive site layouts using CAD.
• Land Acquisition (30%): Manage the due diligence process in collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Entitlements (25%): Facilitate the entitlement process supporting land acquisitions and build-to-suit (BTS) projects.
• Design Support (10%): Engage with the development team to integrate customer requirements into design.
• RFP Responses (5%): Contribute to the preparation of responses to customer RFPs.

Building Blocks for Success:

• Minimum of 7-plus years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience in industrial development, due diligence, and land municipal approvals.
• Comfortability with an estimated 40% travel within central region markets.

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science degree with a technical focus.
• Professional license (engineer or architecture).
• Data Center Experience.

Hiring Salary Range of: $139,000 - $191,000. Salary and whole compensation package to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
