Your Role and Responsibilities
- Work with the client and ensure that the security and privacy posture is maintained for the organizational system.
- Conduct systems security or privacy engineering activities as part of the SDLC.
- Refine security and privacy requirements and ensure that the requirements are effectively integrated into systems and system elements through security or privacy architecting, design, development, and configuration.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- The ability to refine security and privacy requirements for Federal systems, and effectively integrate them into system elements to prevent, detect, and recover from security breaches.
- The ability to support development or operational team requirements to integrate those security controls, and provide for effective security continuous monitoring on a Federal project.
- Strong written language skills to support maintenance of the SSPP and related documentation.
- Strong organizational skills to support management of hundreds of control assessment findings and POA&Ms.
- The ability to complete the recurring activities in ISSO checklists, completing the checklists in client implementation of its current GRC solution and submitting the checklists when completed.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 5+ years of experience as a Security Officer or Analyst on a team supporting an individual system.
