Job Description:

Play key role in Dev Ops Automation and the enhancement of command level scheduling, task management and tracking assets in the delivery of scalable, high-performance solutions for PACFLT.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Promote build automation and code sharing among developers.
2. Document Agile software development processes to promote communication between SCMS and PACFLT onsite developers.
3. Research and identify solutions for reducing man hours necessary for inputting tasks and reducing reports.
4. Research and build prototypes for creating Excel Add-Ins to be hosted in a SharePoint App Catalog.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

1. Secret Clearance.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or technical discipline and five years software development experience.
3. One-year DevOps Pipeline experience.
4. Advanced knowledge of software development fundamentals.
5. Capable of working with rapidly changing requirements and multiple development efforts.
6. Familiarity with automated testing methodologies.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Proficiency with MS SharePoint.
2. Familiarity with Agile development methodology.
3. Proficiency with a subset of the following: .NET, C#, SQL, WPF, Web API, SOAP, REST, MS Windows, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, IIS, TFS, ASP.NET, Razor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (AJAX, JQuery, JSDN) and Adobe applications.

Education Requirements:

1. Must have a bachelor’s degree or Equivalent with 5 years of experience in software development.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

1. Position requires Sitting (90%), Standing (5%) and Walking (5%) of the time.
2. Ability to Grasp (15%) of the time.
3. Position requires Near acuity (100%), Speaking (100%), Listening (100%), Sight (100%) of the time.
4. Position requires traveling CONUS (2%) of the time.
