Cloud Systems Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer for an opportunity with Leidos in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This role involves designing and implementing solutions within the Global Management System (GMS) Innovations portfolio, including developing system and technical requirements in a Data-Driven, AI ready, cloud-based environment. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional experience and strong technical expertise in cloud-based system architecture. Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification is required. The position offers a competitive pay range and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Developing technical approaches and systems for innovations that best fit business needs.
• Overseeing the implementation of solutions throughout the lifecycle to ensure they meet stakeholder needs.
• Identifying project task dependencies, risk mitigation, and tracking related project tasks
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to refine the solution, design, and processes.
• Working closely with cross-discipline teams to monitor technical variances and facilitate issue resolution.
