Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis on hydrology and/or water resources
5 years of relevant professional experience with an emphasis on hydrologic engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) certification or ability to obtain certification within one year
Ability to perform probability and statistical analysis of hydrological datasets
Familiarity with a variety of software packages and modeling tools, in particular HEC-SSP, HEC-HMS, USACE time series toolbox, and other statistical packages
Familiarity with snowmelt methods particularly applicable to the mountain regions of the western USA
Familiarity with risk assessment framework for dams and hydropower facilities
