Overview:

As the Lead Azure Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure. You will mentor and guide a team of cloud engineers, fostering innovation and operational efficiency. Your role will involve developing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, collaborating closely with development teams, managing our Azure cloud infrastructure, administering Microsoft Identity solutions, and ensuring a secure and compliant cloud environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, promoting professional growth and fostering effective collaboration.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement IaC practices utilizing tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with development teams to streamline and automate build and deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient code integration and testing processes.
  • Azure Cloud Management: Oversee Azure cloud infrastructure, focusing on the deployment and optimization of virtual machines, resource management, and governance.
  • Microsoft Identity Administration: Manage Microsoft Identity solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access policies.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure a secure and compliant cloud environment by enforcing cloud governance policies and implementing best practices in security.
  • Operational Support: Provide operational support and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to address any critical incidents.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud AZURE engineering or infrastructure management.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud management and proficiency in IaC tools, particularly Terraform, as well as CI/CD tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 support, including InTune, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, driving innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
