Job Title: Product Designer (UI/UX)
Experience Level: 1 - 3 years
Location: Pleasanton CA
Duration: 12 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Visualize and communicate design concepts using techniques such as journey mapping, storyboarding, sketching, and light prototyping.
- Collaborate with Product Management to define exceptional customer and associate experiences for fulfillment initiatives.
- Lead the design process for product features, developing solutions for new problems and improving existing features across apps and websites.
- Utilize competitive analysis and data to identify opportunities that align with business strategy and customer needs.
- Use research insights to inform user-centric design solutions.
- Design and critique effective user experiences with a constructive mindset.
- Solicit feedback from leadership and provide timely updates on design progress.
- Enhance design language through data-driven modifications and suggestions.
- Foster collaboration with product and tech teams to discuss and refine ideas.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- BS/BA degree required; graduate studies preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate design rationale.
- Experience in user experience, information architecture, or creative design (1 - 3 years).
- Internet and retail experience preferred.
- A robust product design portfolio that demonstrates customer-centered solutions.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
- Usability and customer-focused design experience required.
- Passion for building excellent user experiences and solving customer and business challenges.
