In this global role you will operate our internal data communications systems and establish and maintain network performance by troubleshooting network problems. In addition, you will work on various projects.
This is a hybrid role:

Responsibilities:
- Plans, conducts research, and participates in design of network and network security architecture for IT systems.
- Develops, reviews, and approves installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices.
- Serves as subject matter expert and provides consulting support to business stakeholders.
- Designs and implements Network infrastructure in support of Disaster and Cyber recovery exercises.
- Produces and maintains documentation to support Network/Security Architecture Long Range Plans.
- Provides Level 3 support and/or responds to, investigates, Network Security and Network Operation incidents and provides thorough post–event analyses.
- Provides Level 3 review and validation of network security changes.
- Develops project timelines for ongoing system upgrades with a focus on continuous improvement of system network security posture.
- Develops project timelines for merger and acquisition environments. Analyzing pre–built environments and establishing checkpoints to standardization.
- Develops knowledge transfer material including knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures to aid in shift left opportunities.
- Reviews system network security measures and implements necessary enhancements following change control review process.
- Drives regular tests and monitoring of network security and performance.
- Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging network and network security infrastructures, operation practices and standards, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
- Responsible for compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Performs technology evaluations including analysis and proof of concept testing.
- Maintains Cloud standards for cloud environments including; GCP, AWS, Azure, and OCI.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of IT network infrastructure, network security, cloud networks, cloud security, and network/computer operating software.
- Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and security.
- Solid understanding of 802.1x and NAC solutions.
- Solid understanding of WAN technologies including MPLS and DMPVN phase III mesh networks.
- Working knowledge and experience of routing metric manipulation for WAN protocols.
- Demonstrates a strong customer centric approach, empathy for global cultural differences, and excellent.
- Integrates technical expertise with communication, leadership, and business skills in a team environment.
- Guides other teams on integration of new technologies or existing technologies into the environment in a standardized manner.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with others.
- Demonstrated ability to solve end user issues.
- Ability to manage complex issues and apply root cause analysis.
- Solid knowledge of applicable IT systems/applications.
- Ability to implement new systems and tools.

- Demonstrates mastery of the concepts and theory of network security, but possess adept knowledge of data networking, including expertise in Cisco switching, routing and TCP/IP fundamentals.
- Thorough understanding of intra and inter cloud secure routing utilizing native cloud technologies and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Demonstrates knowledge of encryption protocols, as well as means for compromising systems based on known vulnerabilities.
- Experience with Cisco switching, routing and enterprise wireless.
- Working knowledge of scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with VoIP technologies as part of the overall network architecture.
