Lead Electrical Engineer

Title: Electrical Engineer

Summary:

Electrical and controls support for projects and equipment.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following : Support Engineering group (product, project, process, plant engineering) with electrical and controls engineering
• Electrical support for set-up (AMS/Programming)
• Lead for automation projects (line optimization/Continuous Improvement)
• Hands-on support for future projects (welding, automation, controls, etc.)
• Support for troubleshooting electrical issues on existing equipment/projects
• Proposing controls upgrade projects to rationalize production
• Identify, resolve, and escalate issues that may impact objectives
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Exposure to electrical field work and managing electrical contractors

• Skills: Microsoft Office, MS Project
• PLC/Programming Experience
• AMS Experience

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, sit for long periods. Use small tools and lift 50 pounds.

Work Environment : Manufacturing and mill environment, office (Travel occasionally, typically around 10%)
