Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Sunrise Futures is looking to hire a talented Junior Infrastructure System Engineer to join our technology team.

The Role:

1. Providing technical expertise to support and troubleshoot our production environment in real time.
2. Working collaboratively with the technology and business teams on our trading and research platforms.
3. Analyzing complex technical issues and creating solutions proactively.
4. Designing and implementing high-quality software solutions used for algorithmic trading, exchange connectivity, and research.

The Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
2. Problem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and "outside of the box" thinkers.
3. Strong programming skills and good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
4. Ability to work afternoon shift hours, approximately 10am-8pm Central Time.
5. Linux user experience.
6. Desire and interest to develop a career in the financial industry.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Motivated, dependable, and responsible team players.
