Software Engineer in Test

Looking for a versatile tester who can perform both data validation and end-to-end application testing.

Responsibilities :

• Understand data requirements and create test plans to verify data against expected results.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Test the application’s functionality based on specifications.
• Ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities by regression testing.
• Ensure the application's UI is user-friendly and works well across devices.
• Identify vulnerabilities in the application, especially if it's handling sensitive information.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Perform Data Testing & Application Testing.
• Expert in SQL for querying databases.
• Experience with tools like Selenium, Apache JMeter, or custom Python scripts for data validation.
• Sound knowledge of Java, Eclipse IDE, Spring, JUnit, SOAP UI Pro, Selenium, Jbehave/Cucumber frameworks, Databases, APIs (REST/SOAP), code review and scanning tools and configuration, branching techniques.
• Using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to evaluate application performance.
• Exposure to Functional testing, Regression testing, performance testing, and Security Testing .
• Exposure to application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk is desirable.
• Exposure to Chaos, software security and crypto testing practices is preferable but not mandatory.
• Exposure to performance testing and parallel testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc
