We have an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer . We are looking for recent college graduates who are self-directed and ambitious, seeking an entry-level role. The Manufacturing Engineer will be based in our Hopkinton, MA location, supporting manufacturing operations.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to produce precision motion devices and systems.
- Assist the Test Engineering and Quality departments with troubleshooting, correcting, and documenting the solutions to complex problems.
- Create and revise manufacturing documentation, including work procedures and assembly records, in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.
- Work alongside and communicate with the assembly technicians. You will have the opportunity to learn the products by assembling them.
- Design fixturing for assembly and metrology.
In a single facility, we manufacture a broad range of products; with a mix of high-volume serial production and low-volume, complex machines. The work presents an opportunity to gain experience with a variety of technologies including air bearings, piezoceramics, electronics, and controls systems.
In addition to technical knowledge, this position requires strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, a team-player mentality, a passion for perfection, and attention to detail.
What Have You Done:
- Acquired A.S. or B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field.
- 2-4 years of relative experience is desired but not required.
- Have a love of building mechanical and electrical devices.
- Demonstrated CAD/3D modeling experience (SolidWorks preferred).
- Exhibit strong visual-spatial ability and are able to solve challenging technical problems.
- Experience with basic metrology tools such as calipers, test indicators, and micrometers is preferred.
- Machining or metal fabricating experience will strengthen your candidacy.

- This is a full-time, on-site position.
- Working hours are 8am – 5pm ET, Monday thru Friday.
- US Citizen or Green Card required – evidence of permanent ability to live and work in the US is a requirement for this position.
