**MUST HAVE A POLY CLEARANCE TO APPLY**

1. The Candidate shall plan, design, and develop a cloud-based AWS API Gateway capable of moving data from multiple source systems to a shared service provider.
2. The Candidate shall work with the Sponsor’s engineering team to identify and implement a cloud-based solution for the API gateway.
3. The Candidate shall use APIs to design Representational State Transfer (REST) services and integrate them with existing data providers using JSON, XML or other software.
4. The Candidate shall design, develop, and implement scalable, elastic micro services based platforms.
5. The Candidate shall dissect existing Java applications.
6. The Candidate shall develop micro services for specific system functionality.
7. The Candidate shall provide technical guidance to less senior developers.
8. The Candidate shall develop detailed program specifications, design, and interface control documents.
9. The Candidate shall design, develop, and brief technical strategies.
10. The Candidate shall provide technical guidance and coordination across multiple development teams to meet project objectives.

1. The Candidate shall review and analyze documentation to create detailed test plans, procedures, and Requirements Verification Traceability Matrixes (RVTM) to support testing activities.
2. The Candidate shall test the consumption of external APIs or data as it passes through the gateway.
3. The Candidate shall work collaboratively with partners to plan, coordinate, and conduct test activities.
4. The Candidate shall investigate and create discrepancy reports.
5. The Candidate shall perform thorough system, interface, user acceptance, and regression testing.

1. Demonstrated experience using Java, Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE), Spring Boot, Representational State Transfer (REST), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), microservices, and RabbitMQ.
2. Demonstrated experience with micro services architecture.
3. Demonstrated experience with databases, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL.
4. Demonstrated experience dissecting existing Java applications.
5. Demonstrated experience developing microservices for system functionality.
6. Demonstrated experience with Angular and React front-end development frameworks.
7. Demonstrated experience building and designing web services in the cloud.
8. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting on Java or J2EE technologies.
9. Demonstrated experience using Java, Spring Framework, and GitHub.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
3. AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or other cloud related certification.
