Job Title: CNC Mill MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist experienced with Vertical Machining Centers (VMC). In this role, you will perform your own setups and operate machines to machine large blocks, weldments, and plate work. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, using digital or standard manual micrometers, performing quality checks, drilling, tapping holes, changing tooling, basic computer use to track progress, and 3-D machining.ResponsibilitiesPerform setups and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers (VMC).Machine large blocks, weldments, and plate work using 4-axis machines.Read blueprints or prints to machine parts.Use digital or standard manual micrometers.Perform quality checks on parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and visual inspection.Drill and tap holes.Change tooling as necessary.Use basic computer skills to track the progress of parts.Conduct 3-D machining.Program using MasterCAM if experienced.Essential Skills5+ years of experience running CNC Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) Mills.Experience setting up and operating machines.Ability to read blueprints and tolerances on micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Proficiency in adjusting speeds and feeds and changing out tooling.Why Work Here?Our company offers a flexible start time for 1st shift hours and a climate-controlled, clean shop environment. We operate on a 1st shift from Monday to Friday, with flexible start times and an average of 40-45 hours per week. The shop is air-conditioned and offers great benefits, including coffee.
