Role: AWS Data Engineer

Location: Newark, NJ(Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Lead geospatial data analysis projects to provide actionable insights.
• Oversee the integration of geospatial data with AWS services to enhance data processing capabilities.
• Provide expertise in AWS CloudWatch to monitor and manage geospatial data workflows.
• Utilize AWS Athena for efficient querying and analysis of large datasets.
• Ensure the effective use of AWS services to support geospatial data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Develop and maintain geospatial data models and databases.
• Implement best practices for data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Conduct regular reviews of geospatial data processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Train and mentor junior analysts on geospatial data analysis techniques and AWS services.
• Prepare detailed reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technologies and AWS services.
• Contribute to the development of strategies for leveraging geospatial data to achieve business goals.

Qualification:

• Possess a strong background in geospatial data analysis and AWS services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and managing data workflows.
• Show expertise in AWS Athena for querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Have experience in integrating geospatial data with AWS services.
• Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Hold a degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Preferably have certifications in AWS or geospatial technologies.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
• Have a track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
