EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a fantastic, reputable precision engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of safety-critical, complex components for a number of lucrative industries, including Motorsport & Automotive.
Due to increased customer demands, our client is seeking a CMM Programmer / Quality Technician to join their business in Northampton on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities include:
- Set, operate and program CMM's using PCDMIs
- Manual quality inspection
- Carry out reviews on non-conforming parts
- Update quality documentation and records
- Creation of inspection reports
Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous Metrology / CMM background, held within a precision engineering environment
- Ability to set, operate & program CMM's using PC-DMIs software
- Strong quality knowledge / experience
- Knowledge of working on manual and digital measuring equipment including shadowgraphs, gauges, callipers etc.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in working on small to medium sized, precision machined components
