Pay rate range - $65/hr. to $68/hr. on W2

The Role

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable distributed services with a high level of operational excellence.

You will design and code, troubleshoot, and support.

You will follow the best practices to help build a distribution, logistics, and business analytics solution.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
• Knowledge of design patterns, object-oriented design, and data structures.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java or Python.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum team environment to deliver high-quality software against tight schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle for a software product.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with product, technical, and support teams.
• Exposure to proper SDLC including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and continuous deployment.
• Experience developing complex software systems that have successfully been delivered to customers.
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.

Must Have

• 2 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree at minimum.
• No certifications needed.

Must have: Full Stack Development - 2 years, cloud experience - 1-2 years, Java/Python - 1 year experience designing for systems.

Nice to have: SQL knowledge, Angular.
