Job Requirements / Description

Required Qualifications:

  • Product Data Center (5-7 years’ experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrable ‘hands-on’ IT work experience supporting and resolving diverse PC desktop software and hardware issues.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Must be willing to work varying shifts (Day, Night, Slit, or weekends).
  • Familiarity with workflow and ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interface at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and perform in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Monitor and manage physical data center access, including escorting non-AA personnel within the facility.
  • Forecast resource requirements and coordinate with teams to scale data center operations based on evolving needs.
  • Conduct and support audits for compliance (e.g., FM Global, PCI/PII, security protocols) and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance and upgrades, ensuring timely resolution of any vendor-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to critical failures and emergencies, addressing hardware, network, or software issues and escalating when necessary.
  • Develop and execute disaster recovery and backup plans to protect data and ensure business continuity during emergencies.
  • Maintain documentation of equipment, incidents, and maintenance activities, keeping records up to date for audit and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Monitor power distribution and cooling systems to maintain optimal environmental conditions, ensuring energy efficiency and system reliability.
  • Prepare assets for disposal or relocation as needed, following established processes for decommissioning hardware.
  • Create and assist with incident tickets, providing technical support and problem resolution in coordination with other IT teams.
