Description
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the design, migration, implementation, enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of LAN/WAN/Video/Voice/desktop infrastructure. You will be involved in developing technical solutions, evaluating network service requests, analyzing network infrastructure, maintaining network hardware and software, and creating and updating network infrastructure documentation. The role may also involve assisting with the development of network architecture and roadmaps, and supporting design documentation, factory testing, and integrations of network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network engineering and administration, as well as strong leadership skills in a complex technical environment with tight security restrictions and a diverse workforce.
Basic Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Prior experience with programs of similar size and complexity
- Masters and 15 + years of experience with the Sponsor and the Sponsor's mission OR 20 + years of experience in lieu of degree
- Hands-on experience in network engineering and administration on complex programs
- Cisco and Juniper Architecture experience required
- Ability to lead others and convey complex technical concepts
- Proven leadership skills in a complex technical environment with tight security restrictions and a diverse workforce (4+ years of experience)
