Senior Control Software Engineer
Indianapolis, IN
Rolls-Royce is looking for a Senior Control Software Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on flagship Rolls-Royce programs and play a vital role in solving some of the most complex and interesting technological challenges in the industry while being part of a global, multi-disciplinary team.
As a Senior Control Software Engineer, you will develop, write, test and document embedded code for safety critical electronic engine control and monitoring systems.
You may be involved at any stage of a project lifecycle from concept development, integrated/component testing through final production release. You'll usually work in project teams with colleagues in other branches of engineering.
Key Accountabilities:
- Strong development experience
- Experienced in design and development of embedded software solutions
- Experience in software design patterns
- Familiarity with Integration (software/hardware and software/software) and component level testing
- Familiarity on software lifecycle (Design to release)
- Knowledge of software testing framework
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 2+ years Software (traditional and model-base) experience, OR
- Master's degree in STEM discipline with experience in Software OR
- PhD in degree in STEM discipline with experience in Software
- In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
Preferred Requirements:
- 2+ year of experience in embedded safety critical software engineering
- Use a DO-178 compliant software coding process.
- Control software experience
- Digital logic design experience
- Experience with verification and testing frameworks

Pay Range: $88,334 - $132,502-Annually
