Boingo's Application Engineering team is looking for a software engineer with Node, React experience and a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (WordPress). It is also a big plus if you have SQL and .NET experience. You’ll need curiosity and a desire to learn new technologies to join this talented, cohesive, and engaged team! Responsibilities
- Development and quality assurance of enterprise web applications
- Assist with development of unit testing and front-end automation testing.
- Support and help diagnose operational issues as they arise.
- Utilize tools and methodologies to improve individual effectiveness and to increase efficiencies in the development process.
- Maintain and assist with the management of dev test, build, and QA environments.
Skills And Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on application development experience
- Mobile web experience (App development a plus)
- Strong knowledge of and experience using object-oriented languages and design techniques
- Understanding of HTML & CSS (SASS)
- Hands-on experience using JavaScript with related frameworks & libraries (NodeJS, React, jQuery)
- Understanding of SQL (MSSQL / MySQL), MongoDB
- Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithm design, concurrency issues, and performance assessment.
