Your work will impact the customer experience of Amazon DynamoDB, a key-value and document database that delivers single-digit millisecond performance at any scale. Many companies in the retail space use common DynamoDB design patterns to deliver consistently low latency for mission-critical use cases.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of design experience
  • 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
  • Have an available online portfolio
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
  • Experience in visual design expertise demonstrated through mockups and style guides
  • Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or similar
  • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
