Systems Security Engineer

Our client is searching for a Systems Security Engineer to join a leading defense contractor who will play a crucial role in safeguarding large-scale systems and networks. Your expertise will help ensure that security best practices are adhered to, and that critical software and systems remain secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate and verify system security requirements, and design security solutions for complex, large-scale systems and their components.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices across various programs and systems.
• Recommend and develop technical solutions, products, and standards aligned with current and future system security architecture.
• Evaluate, review, and test critical software to ensure security compliance and functionality.

Qualifications:

• Current US Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Clearance required (higher levels also accepted).
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Information Security.
• Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and security performance tuning.
• Experience monitoring and maintaining network and system infrastructure, including Linux, UNIX, and Windows servers.
