NetGO has a current opening for a Security Engineer to support a Federal Government client with their digital transformation and modernization programs.

Description

Responsibilities:

1. Plans, implements, upgrades, or monitors security measures for the client's applications and infrastructure.
2. Ensures appropriate security controls are in place.
3. Ensures adherence to the client's policy for information and data security and privacy (PII).
4. Plans and develops security reference models (SRM).
5. Responsible for planning and implementing cloud security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms (ex. Salesforce, AWS).
6. Provides a common language and methodology for discussing security and privacy in the context of the client's business and performance goals through the sub-architecture view of the overall EA using the SRM.

Qualifications:

1. BS or greater in Computer Science or related field.
2. Demonstrated experience in network and security infrastructure; government experience desired.
3. Demonstrated IT Leadership capabilities.
4. One or more of the following certifications or equivalents: CAP, CISSP, CNDA, CISM.
5. Govcloud, Fedramp, FISMA, NIST standards experience. Risk Management Framework (RMF), Infrastructure security, Cybersecurity, and McAfee Endpoint Security.
