Job Requirements / Description

We are seeking a Program Manager that will report directly to the Director of Program Management who will be responsible for developing detailed schedules for the Research & Development, Certification, and Production of an aircraft. The schedules will be developed in coordination with the managers and leads for Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Flight Test, and Business Operations. The Program Manager will be responsible for reporting milestone status and schedule progress to Executive Leadership.


Duties:


  • Develop and implement program strategies that align with organizational goals
  • Develop detailed schedules for development, certification & production large scale projects
  • Ensure projects are aligned with the strategic plan of the organization
  • Oversee and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Define the controls, processes, procedures and reporting formats to manage projects
  • Establish technology, tools and processes to effectively manage project progress
  • Establish metrics to track and monitor program resources, progress and performance
  • Plan the overall program and monitor progress to ensure milestones are being met across various projects
  • Coordinate interdependencies between the program and various projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Identify program risks / issues and proposed mitigations
  • Manage the risks and issues that might arise throughout the program life cycle and take measures to correct them


Qualifications :


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Aerospace Engineering
  • 10+ years’ Aerospace industry professional experience in Program Management
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
  • Proven track record of managing large scale projects
  • Aerospace Development and Certification programs experience
  • Working experience and knowledge of either Part 23/25/27/29 regulatory requirements
  • Must have a broad knowledge of project management methodologies
  • The ability to understand business and strategic goals
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office (excel, PowerPoint, Project, Excel)
  • Experience to use Project management tools, (iQUAVIS is preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of TeamCentre PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
  • Working experience with SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
