Position: System Engineer
Openings: 2 (level II and III)
Location: Orlando, FL 32826
Duration: 6 month contract, potential extensions/conversion
Clearance: Ability to obtain
Schedule: Hybrid onsite in Orlando
Targeted Pay: $50/hr - $70/hr (based on experience/education/certifications)
Must-Haves:
- Ability to obtain a clearance
- 3-10+ years of experience as a full lifecycle System Engineering experience working on embedded systems/software related projects
- Requirements gathering using DOORS, CONOPS, trade studies, system design, test, integration, verification and validation
- Experience with system design and creating test development procedures
Day-to-Day
The role involves providing support through system integration and testing. It includes participating in embedded system development and testing, as well as full lifecycle systems engineering tasks. The job requires identifying customer needs and translating them into specific system requirements. Responsibilities include assembling system components to ensure they work together as intended, conducting tests to identify and fix issues, verifying system performance, and validating that the system meets all requirements. The role also involves setting up quality control processes, conducting regular audits, and implementing continuous improvement practices. Additionally, it includes tracking and controlling changes to the system architecture and components throughout its lifecycle, providing ongoing reports and documentation.
