Responsibilities:

• Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
• Design and develop user interfaces for internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Determine design methodologies and tool sets; complete programming using languages and software products.
• Design and conduct tests, and troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

The Ideal Candidate

• Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
• Experience in the Spring Framework.
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
• Expertise in Java J2EE and Hibernate.
