Senior DevOps Engineer / Hybrid Los Angeles

A major consulting company is teaming up with a social media giant to build out their SRE/DevOps team. They're looking for Site Reliability or DevOps engineers to build out their automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging tools, as well as debug and troubleshoot production performance issues for their main platform.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with public cloud platforms, Linux administration, Terraform, and logging, monitoring, and observability.

This role is remote hybrid in West Los Angeles or in the Bay Area.

Required Skills & Experience

1. 5+ years total experience in DevOps
2. 5+ years of experience using AWS
3. Automation scripts in Bash and Python
4. Experience building out logging and observability tools
5. Knowledge of MQ tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ
6. Experience building out CI/CD tooling and DevOps automation

Desired Skills & Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
2. Fluency in Mandarin a big plus but not required
