Our client, a leader in the sensing solutions manufacturing,is seeking qualified CNC Operators to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the machining team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Job Title: CNC OperatorLocation: Lawrenceville, GAPay Range: $22 per hourWhat's the Job?Plans machining by studying work orders, verifying blueprints, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).Sets-up lathes/mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving first part.Sets-up lathes/mills by adjusting collets, three-jaw chucks, and/or vise jaws, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, and stock pushers or pullers.Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.Maintains specifications by observing CNC tools, sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.Assists mechanics and machinists in repair work.Performs ancillary duties as required.What's Needed?2-4 years previous experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.HSD or GED required.Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.Be able to work overtime if required.
