Job Description:

As a Senior Civil Engineer at Perigee Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of major civil engineering projects. You will leverage your extensive experience and technical expertise to lead project teams and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Oversee and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  2. Design and Analysis: Develop and review detailed engineering designs, calculations, and analyses for infrastructure projects including roads, utility systems, and residential and commercial site developments.
  3. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  4. Client Interaction: Manage client relationships and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges, developing innovative solutions to technical problems.
  6. Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering practices and outputs meet industry standards, codes, and regulations. Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of work.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with experience using Civil3D in road design, site grading, and utility design
  3. Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, and codes.
  5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  6. Project Management: Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
