Job Title: Data Engineering Manager
About RING: RING is a new inventory and goods risk management program across WW Ops, leveraging learning, products, and tools to reduce operational losses. We engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and stakeholders, focusing on strong success.
Our Mission: The RING Data team's mission is to help RING become a more data-driven business. We provide the backbone for measuring progress, identifying opportunities for improvement, and arming decision-makers with actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and build the AWS Data Platform and supporting systems.
- Manage a team of Data Engineers and BI Engineers.
- Focus on data engineering innovation and core data platform services.
- Spearhead enterprise-wide data security, governance, and cost efficiency initiatives.
- Possess strong technical knowledge in data engineering and systems architecture.
- Implement large-scale data engineering solutions for various applications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience.
- 5+ years managing a business intelligence or analytics team.
- Experience with SQL and ETL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight.
- Experience with statistical/machine learning software (R, Python, etc.).
- 4+ years in large data warehousing environments.
- 10+ years in data warehouse technical architectures and hands-on SQL coding experience.
