Platform Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Platform Engineer to work on site in San Jose, CA, Monday through Friday. The Platform Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring reliability and performance of hardware devices in a lab environment.

Responsibilities for the Platform Engineer:

1. Develop, analyze, simulate and test software diagnostics for hardware products in a lab environment.
2. Create testing procedures to evaluate performance of the software.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams with excellent written and in-person communication skills.

Qualifications for the Platform Engineer:

1. 3-5 years' experience in software diagnostics for hardware/networking products.
2. Deep understanding around diagnostics in firmware development.
3. Proficient with C programming language, Linux, Python and Zscaler.
4. Must be a US Citizen and willing to work onsite in San Jose, CA.
5. Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or related technical field.

Compensation/Benefits for the Platform Engineer:

1. Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000.
