This position can be based in Syracuse, NY or Charlotte, NC. It may also be a remote role for a qualified candidate.As an Application Engineer, you will work closely with the product manager, our sales teams, and a cross functional product team to support our company’s customers. Assist with planning and implementing product updates, new product releases and provide critical input for the development of product roadmapsMaintain selection software and pricing systems, work across multiple disciplines to implement corrections, updates, and new product releases in the selection software and pricing systemsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree2+ years of HVAC Product ExperiencePreferred QualificationsBS Degree in Mechanical EngineeringExperience with one or more of the following is preferred; vertical packaged units (VPAC), water source heat pumps (WSHP), room fan coils, unit ventilators, air terminals, building automation and control of HVAC equipment.Product marketing experience in a technical environmentExcellent written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersTechnical understanding of HVAC systems, including system design, building and energy codes, system operation, refrigeration systems, fans, electrical and control systems, and psychometricsWell-developed analytical thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
