Quality Specialist, Aerospace

We are working with a leading Aerospace company who are seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team in the Repair Station in Milwaukee, WI.

This role will be representative for completing final inspections on products before they are returned to the customer.

Responsibilities:

• Completes subcontracted units' final inspection
• Completes subcontracted units' return-to-service tasks
• Deal with and fix problems with quality
• Comply with the Internal Audit Programme when conducting internal audits.
• Complete assigned external audits of contractors
• Helping warehouse professionals check vendor and customer documentation when parts are received
• When necessary, communication between the component repair team and the quality department
• Take an active part in keeping the Quality Management System document up to date for units that are subcontracted.
• Under the DOQ's supervision, preserve business records as mandated by the export compliance and quality systems.
• Any additional tasks and obligations that the Director of Quality assigns

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant expertise in quality assurance and/or inspection, preferably in the operations of aviation maintenance or repair stations
• Experience in Aviation Maintenance or Repair Station operations is advantageous
• Prior Military or Defense experience is desirable but not essential
