Sentinel DevOps Engineer / Principal DevOps Engineer - 13068 with Security Clearance

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a DevOps Engineer / Principal DevOps Engineer - 13068. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel Program.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Job Qualifications:

• You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Engineer DevOps: 2 Years with Bachelors; 1 Year with Masters; or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
• Principal Engineer DevOps: 5 Years with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access (SAP).
• Experience with build tools (i.e., Maven, Ant, GNU make) and/or continuous integration environments (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo) and/or repositories (i.e. Nexus, JFROG).
• IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security + CE) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency with Linux based software development tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft and Linux Red Hat operating system.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (i.e. PERL, Python, Bash, YAML).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues.

Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field of study.
• Previous experience with Kubernetes implementation and Day 2 Operations.
• Previous experience with container technologies
• Previous experience developing and implementing CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Chef or equivalent.
• Experience with source code configuration management tools (i.e git).
• Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault.
• Experience with Nexus.
• Experience with Terraform, vCenter, vSphere, or similar Virtual Provisioning. #SentinelSoftware

Salary Range: $75,300 - $112,900

Salary Range 2: $92,600 - $139,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
