This position focuses on supporting the delivery of tunnels and underground facilities for water, wastewater, and transit infrastructure projects. This position offers a great opportunity for a motivated, detail oriented, team-centric candidate to work on challenging underground engineering projects.Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of structural design calculations for tunnels, shafts, foundations, temporary excavation support systems, and other types of underground structuresAssist with the development of contract drawings and specificationsAssist with technical memoranda and other documents supporting the technical basis of designsAssist with civil, geotechnical, and hydraulics engineers in solving highly multi-disciplinary design problemsAssist coordination with the AutoCAD technicians and other members of the drawing production team for the development of plans, sections, and detailsCommunicate effectively with other designer and construction management staffWork on a variety of office and field assignmentsQualifications:Must be a currently enrolled college student working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or similar programBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCad Civil 3D programsCandidates should be able to multi-task and prioritize work, have strong communication skills and be able to work in a team environmentStrong analytical and technical communication skillsARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?If you feel that you would be right for this position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application so that we can review your information.
