CNC Prove-Out and Programming Technician

Job Description
Our client is searching for an experienced CNC Prove-out and Programming Technician to join their team. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and validating programs that ensure parts are produced accurately and meet production timelines. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong manufacturing and CAD/CAM experience who is eager to contribute to a dynamic, growing team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute programming activities.
• Collaborate with engineers to select tooling and fixturing that meet project needs.
• Create programs optimized for cycle time, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards.
• Communicate special tooling needs in advance of production scheduling.
• Minimize equipment downtime during setup.
• Validate and adjust programs to meet project specifications.
• Document processes for future use and train machinists on program execution.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities during the production process.
• Take on additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent education.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in programming and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM and blueprint reading, including GD&T.
• Strong communication skills and a drive to grow and learn.
