You will be a critical member of our team and be expected to support the proven reputation of excellence in Client Management/Development along with executing projects and managing project pursuits within the municipal Water/Wastewater market of this region.Role accountabilities:This role supports projects and clients in the planning, preliminary and final design, and construction of water/wastewater treatment plants, distribution/collection systems, and pump/lift stations as well as creating construction documents, specifications, and providing engineering services during construction. Additional duties include:Lead preparation of detailed engineering calculations & analysisComplete design tasks within budget and on schedulePrepare scopes of work, cost estimates and other project documentationSupport the work of others and lead junior-level engineers & design/drafting technical staffWork directly, when assigned, with clients to determine needs and provide solutionsEnsure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality and safety standardsTravel (up to 25%) for client meetings, project site visits, etc.Construction administrationRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater fieldKey Skills and Attributes:Flexible to work with a variety of project teams locally and across remote officesExperience in development of project drawings, technical specifications, project schedules and cost estimatesProject experience including design and construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities; focused on expansion, rehabilitation, and retrofitLeadership experience; including managing project delivery expectations, prioritization of tasks, and mentoring junior level staffExperience or desire for client facing role with skills to include preparation and development of proposals, managing client expectations and overall relationship.Preferred QualificationsWorking towards PE licensure in New Jersey and/or in other nearby statesActive participation in regional (local/state) and/or national professional associationsExperience working with public sector clients in New JerseyQualifications & Experience:Continue your career journey as an Arcadian.We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $122,000.
