Weld Engineer/Project Manager

Company involved in the latest automated weld technology. Seeking a Project Manager with PMP (preferred) and experience in automated weld applications. Looking for Mechanical and Electrical aptitude capable of writing specifications and contracts. Capable of successful conflict management.

Responsibilities:

1. Runoff and review of weld tooling
2. Experience with GD&T
3. Lead weekly meetings with a customers who requiring specific welding specifications on their parts to be met by welding equipment
4. Work with robotic MIG, TIG, GMAW,, GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Weldin), OAW (Oxyacetylene Welding) and Brazing, Laser and plasma cutting, with ventilation and shielding gas requirements.
5. Troubleshoot welds and why, undercut, porosity, fusion, crater, and weld profiles
6. Address safety concerns in welding applications
