Mechanical Assembler/Machine Builder

The Mechanical Assembler is a skilled expert who constructs machines or mechanical parts following client specifications, blueprints, or sketches.
Will train candidates with mechanical skills - familiar with hand and power tools, measuring skills
Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assembles automated machines
- Working from blueprints and mechanical drawings while utilizing hand and power tools
- Plumbing of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Control panel and field wiring skills are a plus
Mechanical Assembler Qualifications:
- A two-year technical degree in Automation & Manufacturing Technology or a related field preferred
- Lifting and moving around a lot
- Peripheral vision to detect moving objects and read prints: visual inspection
