Responsibilities:
· Packaging Project Management - Oversee all packaging projects to ensure timely completion in alignment with internal and supplier deadlines. Guarantee that packaging delivers a positive consumer experience while adhering to cost, quality, and compliance standards.
· Packaging Specifications - Develop and update packaging specifications as required. Detail and document the proper application of packaging to the product, how the product should be stacked on pallets, and how it should be safely stored in our warehouse.
· Package Design - Produce 2D CAD drawings and 3D renderings. Test, analyze, and choose packaging materials based on durability, sustainability, and cost, ensuring compliance. Collaborate with third-party partners to develop enhanced packaging solutions or automated packaging technologies.
· Sustainability Lead - Work with the global sustainability team to drive U.S. projects aimed at enhancing packaging sustainability, while identifying new materials and processes to achieve company objectives.
· Package Testing - Manage technical services related to packaging testing, analysis, and the verification and validation of both new and existing products.
Qualifications:
- Packaging Bachelors Degree & 3+ years in a relevant role using plastics and corrugate.
- Experienced project manager with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously, while effectively leading cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience with 2D drafting and CAD (3D ArtiosCAD preferred but not required). Familiarity with TOPS/CAPE software is a plus.
