The Intermediate Mobile and Web Developer role is ideal for a technology-driven individual with a strong foundation in both web and mobile application development. Qualifications
- US citizenship required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. 4 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- 4 years of professional experience in web development, with a track record of successful web application development.
- Certifications in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and popular frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) are beneficial.
- Mobile development certifications for platforms like iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin, Java) are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of cross-platform mobile development tools (e.g., Flutter, React Native) is a plus.
Major Responsibilities
- Mobile and Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain mobile and web applications. Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code for both front-end and back-end development.
- Cross-Platform Development: Develop applications compatible across various web and mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Testing and Debugging: Perform comprehensive testing of applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging. Identify and fix bugs to improve application performance.
- UI/UX Best Practices: Implement UI/UX best practices in application design to ensure an engaging and intuitive user experience.
- Collaborative Development: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers, to meet project objectives.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in mobile and web applications.
- Agile Development Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Utilize CI/CD tools and practices for efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance processes and adhere to best practices in coding and security.
- Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and priorities effectively.
- Client/Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with clients or stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment with development goals.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile and web technologies. Pursue continuous learning to enhance personal skills and knowledge.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for development processes, application architectures, and user guides.
