As a Consultant – Business Intelligence Developer, you will be essential in creating, enhancing, and supporting data-driven reports using both the Tableau and Power BI platforms. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and data teams to improve reporting solutions and provide valuable insights. Additionally, you will develop high-quality reports while optimizing existing systems and processes to achieve impactful results.
Must be currently located in one of 3 areas (Seattle, Irvine, or Los Angeles) due to being a hybrid role with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Support, enhance, and develop reports in both Tableau and Power BI, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of business insights.
- Design and optimize ETL processes for data sourcing and integration using tools like Alteryx, AWS Glue, or Informatica PowerCenter.
- Apply strong expertise in SQL to build scalable data models and perform complex queries to support reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business analysts, to deliver high-quality, actionable reporting solutions.
- Manage and integrate data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and reliability across Tableau and Power BI platforms.
- Utilize AWS services, including AWS Glue and PySpark, to design and implement scalable data workflows and back-end services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 2 years of experience in data reporting and analysis.
- 2 years of experience developing and maintaining reports in Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases, with proven experience in data modeling and complex query writing.
- Experience in building and maintaining ETL pipelines using tools like Alteryx, AWS Glue, or Informatica PowerCenter for data transformation and integration.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data architecture and best practices in using AWS for data processing and reporting.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL scripting.
- Financial industry experience a plus.

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between ($85,000 - $110,000) plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
