We’re looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have:

8+ years of experience in a technical field, including software engineering

5+ years of experience with Enterprise Databases

5+ years of experience with providing technical guidance to other engineers on automation and build tools

5+ years of experience as a lead engineer for software intensive projects

Experience in an infrastructure, DevSecOps, or application development role

Experience with using and leveraging Containerization Services

Experience with system integrations and delivering software systems to Production using SAFe, Agile, Scrum, or Lean processes

TS/SCI clearance

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

20+ years of experience leading complex DevSecOps programs with an emphasis on cloud, multi-domain operations, including air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace missions, information operations, and platform technologies

Experience with using Python for automation

Experience with modern infrastructure, including vSphere, networking security, or storage

Experience with Linux engineering and administration

Experience with automation tools, including SaltStack, Ansible, or Puppet

Experience with providing training using Scaled Agile Inc entablements to provide SAFe certified training for SAFe for Government, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management, SAFe for PO and PM, or SAFe for Teams

Knowledge of build tools

Knowledge of containers and security technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Twistlock, Falco, or Clair

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
